Spin interaction in magnetic fields and influence on spectra. Pulse and Fourier transform NMR. Electrical quadropole interaction. Time-averaging of spin interactions. Elementary relaxation theory. Multipulse and multidimensional NMR. Solid-state NMR. Basics of Magnetic Resoncne Imaging (MRI).
Compulsory laboratory experiments are included in the course.
