- Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ASTDR)
ATSDR is as an agency of the Public Health Service in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, whose task is to prevent exposure and adverse human health effects and diminished quality of life associated with exposure to hazardous substances from waste sites, unplanned releases, and other sources of pollution present in the environment. - Akron Hazardous Chemical Database
This database at will allow the user to retreive information for any of over 1300 hazardous chemicals based on a keyword search. Potential keywords include names, formula and registry numbers (CAS, DOT, RTECS and EPA). An asterisk can be used as a wild card and may be at the end or within a keyword. In addition, multiple keywords can be used and searches can be tailored by using AND & OR between keywords.

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing information and advice about occupational health and safety. CCOHS is renowned for practical health and safety databases (such as MSDS and CHEMINFO) developed by CCOHS; Its comprehensive collection of health and safety products on CD-ROM; Hundreds of health, safety and environmental publications; Its popular list of over 1,000 health and safety Internet resources.
The ChemInfoNet is a chemical health and safety resource for k-12 schools, community colleges and small colleges. It is an ongoing outreach project of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics.

It is a collection of information services that provides safety and health professionals with reliable, accurate and current information to assist them in performing their jobs.

- Genium's Chemical Container Label Database
Looking for an easy, no-cost way to find reliable label information? Try this database. It contains the CAS number, fire diamond rating, ANSI-defined signal word, and physical hazards of 900 chemicals commonly found in the workplace. Genium will be adding new materials and more information to this database on a regular basis.

- The National Institute for Working Life/Arbetslivsinstitutet
The National Institute for Working Life is Sweden's R&D centre for occupational health and safety, working life and the labour market. Most pages are available in both English and Swedish.
NIOSH is the acronym for the National [U.S.] Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. NIOSH is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related illness and injuries.
